Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who is eligible enroll the opportunity in the Register?
Any organisation that is the owner of the opportunity or has the right to represent the opportunity, so long as the opportunity is based in an emerging market nation. There is no restriction on the location of the registering entity.

2. Is there a fee to enrol the opportunity in the Register?
Yes, CETFI will charge a nominal annual fee for the enrollment of the opportunity. The fee varies based on the Level in which the opportunity is registered. The fee is valid for 12 months from the date of registration. More details will be available upon expressing an interest to register.​

3. Do investors also have to pay a fee to register or receive the entries of the CETFI-Register?
No, investors do not have to pay any registration fee. They will receive the access to the CETFI-Register free of cost.
4. Does CETFI charge a success fee on the funds raised?
​CETFI will not charge a percentage but a flat fee for projects that receive funding as a result of the outreach and visibility received via the CETFI-Register.
For opportunity-owners that wish CETFI to play a greater role in helping raise capital, this is possible through a separate bespoke service. Please note that in order to comply with regulatory requirements, this engagement will also include the involvement of “qualified” corporate finance and securities brokerage specialists.

5. What about the confidentiality of commercially sensitive information?
The Register anonymises the entity of the enrolled projects. Investors only receive executive summary of the project. However, as interest is evinced, the project proponent reserves the right to confirm or deny detailed access to the interested party. Should they wish to proceed, they will be required to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement directly with the interested party.

6. In what format is the CETFI-Register available to view?
The Register is currently available in a pdf document which contains information regarding the opportunities. The depth of the information provided is based on the Level of registration.

7. How frequently does the register get updated?
The Register is being updated all the time, however, the updates to the individual registry shall only be sent to the investors in the next scheduled broadcast.​

8. Who gets to see the CETFI-Register?
All registered investors will get access to the CETFI-Register at no cost. As opportunities are registered, the Register will be updated regularly.

9. What is the frequency of the opportunity broadcasts sent to the investors?
The broadcast is sent on a monthly frequency for all Levels of registries. Level-3 entries also get a dedicated deal-alert to investors.
