India’s climate ambition is bold, urgent, and deeply strategic. As the nation accelerates its journey towards a net-zero economy, the scale of capital required—exceeding USD 2 trillion by 2030—demands new alliances, innovative finance, and global resolve.
Following the success of the first two editions in 2024 and 2025, this year’s edition of the India International Climate Finance Forum (IICFF) will return to London from 17–18 September 2026, co-hosted by the Climate and Energy Transition Finance Initiative (CETFI), London Stock Exchange, and the City of London Corporation, along with key institutional partners.
Building the India–UK Climate Finance Corridor
This third edition moves from dialogue to delivery, mobilising capital for India’s climate transition through a curated two-day programme on capital markets, risk mitigation, and India–UK partnerships.

CETFI: Bridging Ambition and Capital
Launched during India’s G20 presidency in 2023, CETFI continues to grow as a dynamic platform connecting emerging market priorities with global financial solutions. Through its CETFI-Mark certification and CETFI-Register platform, it is unlocking scale capital for projects that meet climate, social, and commercial thresholds.
In collaboration with the London Stock Exchange Group, City of London Corporation and leading financial actors, CETFI invites you to join this year’s Forum as we build the financial architecture for a greener, more resilient India—and a more investable Global South.

Session 1: UK Listed Markets | Mobilising Capital for the Climate Transition

Format: Panel Discussion
London has one of the world’s most developed financial ecosystems, spanning public markets, investment funds, sustainable bonds and exchange-traded products. This panel will examine how London’s listed markets can play a larger role in climate finance by connecting international capital with investment opportunities in emerging and developing economies, exploring listed funds, sustainable and transition instruments, aggregation, liquidity and investor requirements.
Central question: How can London’s listed markets become a more effective conduit for global climate capital?
Session 2: Structured Innovation | Building a Global Climate Finance Feeder for the Global South
1545 - 1700 hrs BST
Format: Masterclass
This case-study-based masterclass will examine how global climate capital can be structured and deployed at scale, using CETFI’s proposed London-listed climate investment fund as a live case study. Designed as a global feeder into climate and transition opportunities across the Global South, the session will bring together fund managers, investors, capital-markets specialists, lawyers and structurers to explore the underlying investment architecture, risk allocation, liquidity and governance, and the role of FX, guarantees, insurance and other risk-mitigation instruments. Central question: Can we build a scalable listed architecture that connects global capital with climate investment across the Global South?
Session 3: Networking Reception | Mobilising Capital for the Climate Transition

Conclude the day with an informal networking reception on LSEG’s spectacular terrace, bringing together speakers, investors, institutions and practitioners. An opportunity to continue conversations, build connections and explore partnerships against the backdrop of the London skyline.

Session 1: Session 1: Creating Markets for Climate Investments

Format: Welcome address and Roundtable Discussion
Mobilising climate finance requires more than capital; it requires deep, predictable and bankable markets for climate products and outcomes. Using renewable power, green hydrogen, biogas/CBG, bio-fertilisers and carbon markets as case studies, this roundtable will examine how policy, standards, mandates, certification, offtake, price discovery and market infrastructure can create sustained demand and transform emerging climate solutions into investible propositions. Central question: How do we create markets that make climate investment bankable?
Session 2: De-risking Climate Investments: Guarantees, Insurance and Fx
1130 – 1300 hrs BST
Format: Roundtable Discussion

This session will demonstrate how the India–UK Climate Finance Corridor can move from dialogue to commercial activity, with selected UK companies and financial institutions presenting climate-finance products, platforms and structures being introduced or scaled in India.
Partnerships, Launches & Announcements will include:
•Waste and water market-making platforms
•Guarantee wrappers and credit enhancement
•FX hedging and export finance
•Asset-backed lease and commodity offtake financing
•Technology performance insurance
•Project aggregation and warehousing facilities
•Green commodity CfD / price-support structures
•Carbon-credit offtake and forward financing
The afternoon will also introduce the India–UK SITE Network (Science, Innovation, Technology & Economics) — the wider bilateral platform connecting technology, projects, markets, partnerships and capital between India and the UK.
